One-Off Covid Support Grants to Local Charities

 

The Covid-19 pandemic has proved to be a very difficult time for many charities.  The John Apthorp Charity has now established a fund to help charities which support the residents of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire and which have been severely financially impacted by the pandemic.  We will offer a one-off grant to support charities in these exceptional circumstances.  This is a general grant rather than for a specific project (which is the usual criteria for applying to the John Apthorp Charity).

  

The closing date for applications has now passed.  A decision will be made on which applications have been successful on Monday April 26th.  If your charity is awarded a one-off Covid grant you will be notified within a week of that meeting.  If your application is not successful you will not be notified.  Please note that funds are limited.

 

The decision of the trustees is final and no explanation will be given if you are not successful in your application.

There will be a special Covid support meeting on Monday 26th April 2021 but we are no longer accepting applications for this meeting. 

We are accepting grant applications for capital projects but we have not yet set the date of the next meeting.  Any applications will be held on file until a date is arranged.
