To comply with data protection please be aware of the following:
-
We only accept applications from Registered Charities. Very occasionally we may accept applications from organisations that are in the process of applying for Charitable Status. Any applications we receive from individuals will be shredded and disposed of. We are not in a position to store anything received from an individual so please don't send it to us. We do not accept applications sent on behalf of a charity from third parties. The charity must apply to us directly.
-
We only accept applications from within our geographic catchment area, so for the benefit of residents of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Cambridgeshire.
-
If you do apply to us as you meet the criteria then your application will be kept in our records. These are noted in a database where we hold what awards you have been given, when and for how much. We also keep copies of any correspondence. These are kept in a One Drive file in The Cloud that can only be accessed by trustees and administrators of the charity. If at any time you would like to see a copy of the information we hold on your charity please email us and request it.
-
If you are given an award then we would like to mention you on our website and on our Facebook page.
Please also be aware that:
-
If you are awarded a grant then it needs to be used for the project you applied for a grant for. If the project does not go ahead then you need to return the funds to us at the earliest opportunity.
-
The decision of the trustees is final and no explanation will be given if you are not successful in your application.
